Easton continues to raise the standard with their originality and ingenuity.
How Easton Got Their Start
The start of Easton bats was in 1969, this is when the first Easton bat was made from aluminum.
Today the aluminium bat has become a common piece of equipment within baseball.
This innovation by Easton has become common place, as they continue to be the first, such as: first CU31 bat; first C405 bat; first titanium bat; first Carbon Core bat; first Scandium bat; etc.
Even more of this trend can be seen with bats like the Tri-Shell and the ConneXion.
Easton have patented the Tri-Shell design which features a super elastic rubber sleeve which is pressed in between some thin outer shells for unparalleled performance, great feel, and durability.
The ConneXion design has a separate handle and barrel piece and the they are mechanically intertwined using a ConneXion” elastomer piece which gives a fantastic outstanding flexibility , feel, performance, and vibration reduction.
Further Easton Bat Developments
In the year 2002 Spring, Easton introduced the Tri-Shell Connexion to the baseball bat market.
This bat has merged the technological advancements of both the Tri-Shell and Connexion into one bat.
Easton bats are just one part of the Easton Baseball/Softball product catalogue.
Other equipment made by Easton also include other high quality performance equipment, such as ball gloves and batting gloves, sport bags and other accessories.
The great thing about Easton is that they create all their products with players needs in mind.
All of their products are built to provide you with a competitive edge in the games of fastpitch and slow-pitch softball and adult, senior youth and youth baseball.
The greatest factor of Easton’s success is their research and development.

This trend has continued, with their uses of other high performance materials also.
A piece of information many don’t know is that Easton are also credited for engineering the thermal shroud for the seismometer used on the first Apollo lunar landing.
A bit About The Owner
Jim Easton who is the chairman, has always been known to show great importance of the expansion into different markets.
This ambition is visible as we see the company in the baseball/softball, hockey, and bike markets.
This demonstrates the companies continued legacy to produce innovative, high performance products.
Easton have one of the most unique resting facilities, it is located in Van Nuns.
Originally the facility was for testing equipment it has not developed, this testing of equipment also includes performance which includes humans interaction.
The Easton Mako Test Center
The lab at Easton is now one of their most valuable assets. As it is their hub for creating superior products.
The unique testing facility has been the subject of some milestone testing. This was particularly noted when they teamed up with with tent manufacturer Sierra Designs, to create sensors and integrate software to test a state-of-the-art tent design that is supported by Easton E9 tubing in the most extreme weather conditions.
The tubing was tested in winds blowing up to 96 mph, and the sports lab technicians recorded the stress on the tubing to, allowing them to confirm its strength and durability.
Another good thing about the engineers at Easton sports lab is that many of them are athletes, and they use thier experiences to produce practical new designs.
A notable development by athletes is the two-piece aluminum Easton hockey stick, which was made by an engineer with a passion for hockey.
This design has now go on to become the number one hockey stick in the National Hockey League.
Easton are definitely a sure bet when choosing a baseball bat. The only thing left to do before buying one is to choose one with the right sizing. Easton have bbcor, wood, composite bats as well as slowpitch bats.
